Deep Fried Robocop Chicken Advert

January 3, 2009 by Ed

But Robocop only eats baby food. I seriously doubt fried chicken contains the necessary protein & nutrients to maintain the organic parts of his body. And talk about sell out, I thought Robocop was cool.

Ok I admit it, I’m bored but its still a stupid advert.

Watchmen: Will the Film ever be released?

January 2, 2009 by Ed

If you’ve been keeping up to date with your Watchmen news, you’ll know that the movie is currently in serious donkey droppings. With Judge Feess ruling that Fox (bastards) does retain some rights to any Watchmen movie. Warner Bros and Fox (bastards) both unrelenting in their battle over the movie. Its becoming more and more likely that we won’t be watching the Watchmen movie for quite some time.

Luckily for us, Zack Snyder has put together what seems to be an unlimited supply of  behind the scenes videos and mini documentaries about the film and process of making it.

So  forget all the legal bullshit, put your head in the sand, drown out the sound of Alan Moore’s laughter and pretend all is well. found via [topless robot]

The Legend of Chun Li Japanese trailer

January 2, 2009 by Ed

You know I thought, to make this film the ultimate pile of dog chocolate you’d need a little help from Mr.Van Damme. But I was wrong, it seems the future of the bargin bin at your local garage is in safe hands, as Kristin Kreuk & Co. appear to be doing a sterling job all on their own.  On another note why is it ‘The Legend of Chun Li’? Whats so legendary about her? apart from the occastional flash of her knickers during fight scenes. In fact even these displays of computer generated under clothing, while most awesome, are more fact than legend.

My predictions for this film, someone refers to Chun Li as ‘the one’ and we won’t get to see her knickers. Oh and only fans of Dragon Ball: Evolution (blind people) will like it…

Man breaks into Thor’s flat…mistake

January 2, 2009 by Ed

According to the BBC (Gawd bless ‘em) a ‘would be theifing bugger’ broke into an Edinburough flat on New Years eve only to find himself locking eyes with the Norse God of Thunder himself, Thor.  This apparently was enough to convince him that sticking around wasn’t in his best interests.  So ‘the bastard would be thing taker’ jumped from a 1st floor window and made his retreat into the night, having managed to pinch sod all (ha). Imagine how silly he’ll feel to learn that it wasn’t Thor at all, but a guy called Torvald Alexander who’d made himself a Thor costume out of Tin Foil for a New Years eve party.

Honestly Thor living in a flat in Edinburough? Everyone knows he lives in Oklahoma.

Read the full article HERE, though despite my love of the BBC I think you’ll find that mine is better, cause I stole wrote it and stuff. Pic HERE.

Is it me or does this Batman look a lot like Michael Keaton? Not the body, no, that is clearly modeled on my own. But the head, that reeks of the Keaton.  See the rest HERE courtesy of Joystiq.

A Must Read: Freedom Formula

December 11, 2008 by Ed

”Free Enterprise for a Free World”

As I was picking up a couple of comics in my not-so-local Mega City comics today. I happened upon the rather beautiful cover of Freedom Formula issue #1 and after 1-2 seconds decided to buy it. Well after reading the issue from cover to cover I’m please to report that it was well worth purchasing. The Japanese style artwork is second to none, with panels that are both beautifully drawn and coloured, the aerial shots of Los Petropolis being a personal favourite.

The story takes place in a future where the people have lost faith in the many governments of the world, after a war called ‘The Government Wars’ the people of Earth rise up and remove their governments from power. The earth now run by the major corporations, is a vast wasteland with giant cities and genetically-enhanced lower classes, known as Eugenes. In memory of those who fell during the war the corporations have modified the VX Exosuits, created by the oppressive governments, for sport, for Formula Infinity…

Don’t miss out. Get it. Read it. Shower me with thanks…..and money

Zombie Vs Shark

December 10, 2008 by Ed

Notice how the Zombie clearly tries to have sex with the topless diver yet not eat her? Then after being rejected he settles on taking out his sexual frustration on a passing shark. Now I’m not saying the woman deserved to be assaulted (nice word for rape) but is diving topless really necessary? Yes, well of course it is. sorry. silly me.

Taken from one of my favourite zombie movies, Zombie Flesh Eaters, (this is for you Brad) its Zombie Vs Shark…

New Dragonball Evolution trailer…(Sarcastic) Yeah!

December 10, 2008 by Ed

The Choosen One? Really? Who still thinks thats cool? Any misplaced dellutions that Fox (bastards) or James Wong would remain faithful to any part of the original manga or anime, are destroyed within the first 20 seconds of watching this trailer.

That aside and it still looks bad – found via dbthemovie
